For this incredible project we were selected to produce an interactive magic wand table, magic windows digital screens, butterbeer content menu board system, House merchandise digital signage, House rivalry digital card display, butterbeer liquid oil effects, mechanical wand clock and much more. We provided; lighting, installation services, engineering, audio expertise and digital content for the new immersive three-story flagship Harry Potter store on Broadway in New York. Our vision was to reimagine the retail experience to fully engage and immerse customers into the world of the Harry Potter franchise. We created original content whilst retaining the original style of the films to ensure continuity. We worked alongside Cod Steaks and Household design to deliver this masterpiece of a collaborative effort with marvels of all design areas.

The result was an incredible store, boasting the world’s largest collection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts products. The store includes many interactive elements, photo opportunities, authentic props from the films, and fifteen themed areas. We are thrilled to be the audio and digital effects company behind this landmark shop. We are privileged to have had the opportunity to contribute to such a fantastic project.

Our team created a magic windows display of the forbidden forest with animated 2D puppet animations of characters from the film and a 3D forest with real-time weather animations. The forest is triggered by spells cast by our magic wand table and shows special effects and weather enchantments to keep visitors captivated in their surroundings.

We designed and developed content for a dome magic wand table display. Visitors can touch the wand props expertly crafted at COD Steaks and this in turn will trigger spells and video content on the table. This was especially challenging to program the content to work correctly on a curved surface using two projectors. The table also features special takeover states that cover the full table with magic spells when wands are pressed in a specific order.
