Sundown Adventureland - Four Seasons Area
Rampton, Nottinghamshire
Technically Creative worked closely alongside Sundown Adventureland to help deliver their new café area. We provided Audio Visual effects, digitally enhanced props, scenic painted murals and LED lighting, all of which was controlled by our internally developed show control system. This was a perfect example of how we can use our varied skills in many interactive mediums and cohesively control the effects to tie together a seamless experience for guests. The team built custom RGB lit cloud lighting fixtures that add a whimsical feel to the area and can be programmed to play through special lighting effects. We created custom animations of characters and scenes taking lead from existing artworks from the park. These went through extensive approval processes to fit the traditional look of the Sundown park. The finished digital content was then displayed on multi-output projection walls and monitors that were seamlessly integrated into the set works for continuity between digital effects and physical props.
Further to this, Technically Creative provided visual content and further themed artwork for the Christmas area to tie in with the parks special Christmas period and newly expanded grotto experience.
Utilising a pre-programmed show-control system operated from an iPad, the client could control all installed features with ease. This included; stage lighting, zoned audio system, and projection mapping. Technically Creative provided a complete service from start to finish.
As part of the Sundown Adventureland, four seasons café expansion, the team helped create a animated projection wall. The projection featured the same landscape scene with content updates for each season. This played through entertaining content featuring the parks characters, whilst visitors relaxed in the café. The team created digital assets from scratch and all animation was done in-house. During installation the team seamlessly blended the projections together and masked out the tree props at either end of the content.
The team created content for two window display screens that featured Honey & Sunny, two entertaining characters from the parks heritage brought to life with digital animation.
